At the meeting, leaders of Can Tho city and representatives of Air Vietnam Aviation Joint Stock Company discussed three major issues, including Investment opportunities in aviation logistics; Center for linkage, production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products in the region; restructuring Co Do Agriculture One Member Limited Liability Company. In addition, the two sides also discussed on human resources training in the aviation industry, aviation logistics, and green agriculture.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Tran Viet Truong said that according to Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW dated August 5th, 2020 of the Politburo on the construction and development of Can Tho city by 2030, with a vision to 2045, Can Tho will become a city with a regional hub for commercial services, tourism, logistics, processing industry, agriculture, and high-tech application. Can Tho city is planning an airport city with an area of 10,000 ha. Specifically, a Center for linkage, production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products in the Mekong Delta will be built within the airport city.
Currently, the People's Committee of Can Tho city has assigned departments, branches, and Co Do Agriculture One Member Limited Liability Company to review the regulations and consult on the next steps to continue transforming Co Do Agriculture One Member Limited Liability Company into a Limited Liability Company with two or more members according to the approved policy.
Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho city, said that Can Tho welcomes and supports all investors in the process of researching as well as implementing the project in the city. Furthermore, Chairman Tran Viet Truong asked departments and agencies to prioritize agricultural production and support farmers.
