At the reception, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City Nguyen Trung Nhan briefed Can Tho's development potential and cooperation opportunities and highlighted the city's strategic location as the center of economic, political, and social of the Mekong Delta region. Moreover, Can Tho is the focal investment point of the Mekong Delta with an international airport, highways, and sea ports. Additionally, Can Tho is home to top public educational institutions and top-tier medical facilities.

Can Tho also received much attention from the central government through resolutions of the Political Bureau, National Assembly, and Government. Given its potential and opportunities, Can Tho City is expected to experience significant and transformative developments in the future, Chairman Nguyen Trung Nhan said.

The official hopes that, through this meeting, both sides will gain more information and understanding to facilitate business cooperation, as well as the exchange of work and management experiences in areas of interest.

At the meeting, Chairman of the People's Political Consultation Conference Committee of Dongying City Luu My Hoa introduced the city's strengths and potential. She emphasized that Dongying City is endowed with abundant natural resources such as oil, natural gas, and salt water. This includes being the primary production area of the second-largest oil field in China - the Shengli Oil Field. Dongying City also boasts a 413 km-long coastline and a well-developed transportation system comprising 3 railway lines and 3 highways. Additionally, Shengli Airport offers 21 flights per day to 19 cities globally. Notably, Dongying City is home to 11 enterprises ranked in the top 500 enterprises in China and 15 enterprises in the top 500 private enterprises in China.

Chairman Luu My Hoa appreciated Can Tho leaders for the warm welcome and extended an invitation to Can Tho leaders to visit Dongying City in the near future.
