Can Tho City ODA Project Management Board is the bridge investor, which was constructed by a joint venture between Transport Construction Corporation 1 - JSC and Bridge Joint Stock Company 14.

The project will help ease traffic congestion on Nguyen Van Linh Street and reduce the travel time for people as it connects the central roads of Ninh Kieu District with the southern urban areas and National Highway 1 of Cai Rang District. In addition, it will improve the transportation system, making it easier to promote tourism and attract investment into the city. Furthermore, Tran Hoang Na Bridge is located between Hung Loi Bridge and Cai Rang Bridge, which presents an opportunity to enhance the architectural beauty of river-crossing bridges, thereby creating a captivating landscape in Can Tho City.

The completion of Tran Hoang Na Bridge is one of the wishes of the people living in the affected areas of the Project in particular and of Can Tho City in general.
