Date: 05/05/2024

According to Can Tho Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho welcomed about 285,000 tourists during the five-day holiday of the Reunification Day (April 30th), and International Labor Day (May 1st). Total tourism revenue is estimated at 315 billion VND.

Accordingly, several popular tourist attractions in Can Tho include King Hung Temple, Con Son, My Khanh Tourist Village, Ong De Ecotourism Village, Cai Rang Floating Market, Ninh Kieu Wharf, Ong Pagoda, Binh Thuy Ancient House, and the Purple House. In particular, tours to explore villages and canals attract several international visitors.

This year, the number of visitors decreased dramatically compared to the same period in 2023. The main reason for this is the influence of hot weather.
