Ms. Huynh Thi Bich Tuyen, the owner of Mekong Silt Ecolodge and the creator of One Moment of the South, said: "I grew up in a rural area with very characteristic customs and cultures of the river and water region. That was always a beautiful memory in my mind and I always wondered how to preserve it. Therefore, I came up with this model, combining culture, tourism, and education. The purpose is to both reproduce and preserve the culture of the South and to contribute to young people's understanding of the culture of our ancestors." Ms. Huynh Thi Bich Tuyen spent more than a year implementing her idea, from traveling throughout the Mekong Delta region to find the materials for each house, table, chair, porcelain dish, costume ...and learning skills from artisans to reproduce traditional villages, dances, and crafts.…

According to that, One Moment of the South with an area of about 10,000 square meters, was built as a miniature village with traditional houses and bamboo houses according to the cultures of 4 ethnic groups: Kinh, Hoa, Khmer, and Cham. The gardens here are kept natural, and the ponds are full of water from natural streams. There is a traditional craft village where visitors can experience making and enjoying dishes such as rice noodles, rice paper, and traditional wine, ... Many traditional games from the Southern region are also available for visitors to experience and relive childhood memories, such as marbles, can hitting, kite flying, piggy bank breaking, pot breaking, blindfolded duck catching, pig catching, and canal fish catching. One Moment of the South also has nostalgic stalls from many people's childhoods such as pastry stands, shaved ice stands, and "to he" stands, and visitors can learn to weave coconut leaves, make to he, and make various traditional cakes.

The unique feature of One Moment of the South is that visitors do not use cash, instead, they have to exchange cards to participate in purchasing and experiencing activities. Ms. Huynh Thi Bich Tuyen said, "I hope that when visitors come here, they can turn off the wifi and forget modern technology to immerse themselves in nature." There are about 20 diverse services at One Moment of the South, ranging from gaming activities to cultural experiences, traditional villages, and cuisine. The space here is also suitable for outdoor camping and campfires. The ticket price for experiencing One Moment of the South is 69,000 Vietnamese dong per person, which includes a free drink and a few experiential games.

One Moment of the South is currently developing new activities, such as reproducing the wedding customs of the Kinh, Hoa, Khmer, and Cham ethnic groups, and traditional dances to provide visitors with a deeper cultural experience of the South.
