The program aims to develop a strong and capable entrepreneurial workforce in Can Tho City in terms of quantity, quality, and reasonable structure. These entrepreneurs are expected to have vision, intellect, dynamism, creativity, advanced management skills, compliance with the law, ethical business practices with national characteristics, social responsibility, environmental awareness, and significant contributions to the country's development goals.
By 2030, the goal is to develop an entrepreneurial workforce in the city with scale, capacity, and qualifications that meet the goals of national industrialization and modernization. Efforts will be made to have more large-scale enterprises, some of which will play important roles in global supply chains and value chains, and possess competitive capabilities in foundational industries and priority sectors. Looking ahead to 2045, the vision is to develop an entrepreneurial workforce in Can Tho City with scale, capacity, and qualifications that meet the goals of developed countries, high income, prestige, and influence in the region and internationally. Some businesses will have national brands and lead global supply chains and value chains.
To achieve these objectives, the program outlines seven groups of tasks and solutions, including raising awareness of the position and role of the entrepreneurial workforce in achieving the country's development goals; improving policies and laws, creating a favorable, safe, equal investment and business environment for the development and dedication of entrepreneurs and businesses; fostering business ethics and culture, promoting national spirit, and igniting the aspirations for the prosperous development of the country; it also emphasizes the need to strengthen unity, cooperation, and linkage between entrepreneurs, workers, farmers, and intellectuals under the leadership of the Party; harness the role of representative organizations of the entrepreneurial workforce and businesses; and enhance the Party's leadership and state management in building and promoting the role of the entrepreneurial workforce.
