Composer Trong Huynh shared that at the closing ceremony of the Can Tho City Literary and Art Creation Camp in 2022. The creation camp is organized by the Union of Literary and Art Associations of Can Tho City in collaboration with the Can Tho Composer (under the Support Center for Literary and Art Creation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism). There are 13 writers and artists in 5 majors: music, theatre, literature, fine arts and folklore went on field trips to the relics and attractions of Can Tho; find and meet the people of Can Tho today to hear them talk about love for the land and people.

The "sweet fruits" of the creation camp are 15 artworks that were born or completed in the days when writers and artists shared the beauty of Can Tho. Author Huynh Van Vu, majoring in Theater, was fascinated by the lush green orchards of Phong Dien, the mulberry gardens full of fruit, and wrote the artwork "Grandma's Strawberry Garden". Author Lai Dinh Huan, majoring in Music, wrote the song "Can Tho River" from the beauty of the river of native land. When the song was performed at the closing ceremony, many people were touched by the beautiful lyrics and smooth folk music. In the field of folklore, Dr. Tang Tan Loc has completed the research volume "Can Tho city landmarks from the perspective of language and culture". With a diverse approach, both from the perspective of etymology, as well as from the perspective of culture and history, the research volume shows the richness and identity of the culture of the land and the Can Tho people through the destinations.

This time participating in this creation camp, writer Nguyen Quoc Nam, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho Writers' Association, completed the collection of prose "Once Upon a Beloved Time ". The memories of Can Tho "back then", the stories about the love of the land of Can Tho now through his prose and memoirs keep attracting readers. Writer Nguyen Quoc Nam said that the topic of Can Tho has always attracted not only him but also many writers in Can Tho. A land rich in identity and dynamism, always evoking a lot of creative inspiration. “The city is always changing and developing day by day, so I believe that the topic of Can Tho will not be exhausted but more and more,” said Mr. Nam.

Can Tho through literary and artistic works is something that previous generations of composers have paid great attention to. Through study artworks of writer Son Nam, "Can Tho the past and the present" by author Huynh Minh; or many poems, songs, ancient songs... about Can Tho, the beauty of the land is displayed and spread. Today's generation of writers and artists is still continuing the endless source of emotions about Can Tho to produce many good artworks, contributing to promoting the image of the native land.
