According to the organizers, they are announcing the selection of pediatric patients for the surgical program. The target group includes children aged 1 to 15 years with deformities such as extra fingers, fused fingers, scar contractures, and other deformities in the wrist and hand area. The organizers are accepting registrations until October 25, 2024.

The hospital will conduct screening sessions to select patients who meet the conditions for surgery. Parents of children with hand deformities can register via the following link: https://forms.gle/BL48Gr7MsNzSZdk87 or contact the General Planning Department at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in Can Tho directly. The phone number is 02923.899.444 (available during office hours, Monday to Friday).

These efforts aim to improve the health and quality of life for children with disabilities in the Mekong Delta region.
