On November 24, 2024, both sides signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen their partnership on the basis of mutual respect, equality, and shared benefit, in accordance with the laws and policies of Vietnam and Bulgaria as well as international agreements that the two countries have signed. The two cities will enhance and expand opportunities for cooperation, supporting each other in various fields such as trade, education, culture, tourism, food processing, and technology, as well as other areas aligned with mutual interests. They will also support and consult each other through information exchange and coordinate the implementation of cooperative programs.
