During the meeting, Mr. Duong Tan Hien expressed appreciation for De Heus Group's investment in building a seafood feed processing plant of De Heus Co., Ltd. in Tra Noc 2 Industrial Park, Can Tho City. The plant, with a designed capacity of around 240,000 tons of products per year and a total investment capital of over 18 million USD, is one of the FDI projects that the city's government highly values and has high expectations for. After more than a year of operation, the De Heus-invested plant has been running efficiently, contributing to job creation for local labor and providing high-quality products for aquaculture farmers in the Mekong Delta region. The plant is also assessed to have great potential and a large market for further expansion and development in the future.

According to Mr. Duong Tan Hien, De Heus Group has been operating in Vietnam for over 10 years and has chosen Can Tho as one of the investment destinations to realize its development goals. It is believed that after a period of practical operation, the Group has gained a better understanding of Can Tho and will continue to study the expansion of production and business scale here. Can Tho City has great potential for development in agriculture and industries serving agricultural production. Especially the transportation infrastructure system and industrial parks are being expanded. In addition to Tra Noc 2 Industrial Park, where De Heus Group is currently located, Can Tho City currently has 6 active industrial zones with a total area of 991.65 hectares. Construction has also commenced on the Vinh Thanh Industrial Zone Project (Phase 1) within the city, with an area of 293.7 hectares. It is expected that by the second to third quarter of 2025, the land can be handed over to secondary investors for project implementation and production activities.
