The business delegation including H2G Green Limited (Singapore) and Mas Group (Indonesia) gave an overview of the bussiness areas of the units. In particular, H2G Green Limited is the leading enterprise in the energy transition process in Singapore, which has strengths in participating in the production of advanced biofuels, derived from non-food agricultural waste, which is more environmentally friendly. In particular, the company has solutions to operate the factory with absolutely no emissions into the environment and has obtained international certificates to ensure high-standard treatment processes. Mr. Avier Lim Shao-lin, CEO of H2G Green Limited, wants to explore the opportunity to invest in a renewable energy production facility in Can Tho city with input materials being agricultural by-products. “Currently, the company plans to build factories located in Malaysia, Indonesia and China, as well as wants to set up its own production base in Vietnam soon”, Mr. Avier Lim Shao-lin added.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee - affirmed that Singapore and Indonesia are countries with strong financial potential, technology and modern management capacity. Can Tho hopes to expand strategic, long-term and effective cooperation in the spirit of mutual development.

Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen said that the proposal of the Singaporean and Indonesian business delegations to cooperate with Can Tho city to invest in the development of clean energy is very necessary, in line with the trend of green and circular economic development that Can Tho city as well as many localities in the Mekong Delta are aiming for.
