On July 13, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a working session in Can Tho with ministries, agencies, and localities in the Mekong Delta to resolve obstacles and promote strategic transport infrastructure development, after concluding two fact-finding trips to expressway construction projects. In line with the overall growth of Vietnamese tourism, Mekong Delta tourism as a whole, and Can Tho in particular, are expected to see an increase in the number of visitors and revenue in the first 6 months of 2024. This growth is expected to pave the way for further development in city tourism in the latter half of the year.
